We are not that bad. Amazing business getting Nahki Wells on loan, and along with Hamed, it's transformed us having two decent strikers. We haven't had a decent striker for ages. Lumbering Smith being our best last season speaks volumes. I was gobsmacked how first Ollie and then SMC persisted with Washington. He was obviously shite from the get go. And we've got two super midfielders in Eze and Freeman. Should be a half decent season now.
I wouldn't dream of going to Gnome's world, like you, I have never really got over the way he usurped the .org and took it for his own. He killed the best messageboard we've ever had.
I'd be surprised if this was the only place you expressed your love* of all things QPR, we need an outlet! Where else do our minute band of regulars post? I tend to frequent the much lambasted WATRB and the rather more erudite Loft For Words.
I'm still going to the very occasional match Goofster, unlike the venerable Scorps who along with a few other of this board's stalwarts goes to every home game. It's lost it's meaning, that's the problem. And like you, I find I am underwhelmed with social media and all that goes with it - petty ego stuff, distraction, meaninglessness - leading me to also want to simplify my life. I'm sure our age plays a part in this. Be good to see you sometime anyway mate. I'm thinking of moving to Oxford so will be fairly close to you if you're still Reading way.
I fully understand mate, feel the same. Like our beloved Arbie, I am seriously thinking of moving out of London myself. Hope you're well anyway mate. Do you still go to games?
PS - big up to the Goofmeister! Where have you been? Off farcebook, living your life I guess.
We're loaning our way back to success. Wells and Hamed will save us apparently. Never mind the porous defence. So maybe the Deva stadium, which I had the pleasure of seeing us draw with Vauxhall Motors at back in whenever it was, will have to wait....

Bad-a-bing bad-a-bang... we start the season with a......
...typical, predictable loss. So predictable in fact that even Michael Fish predicted it. So predictable that even Cassandra was believed when she foretold this barely 3,000 years ago. So predictable that Nostradamus didn't even bother to disguise it in some gnomic epigram, he just wrote 'PNE v QPR first game of the season, it's got 1-0 nil written all over it.'
But does that mean the rest of the season will be dire? Of course not! I predict we will win a game, at some point!
Non-stop hustle and bustle. Like Piccadilly Circus in rush hour.
