QPR.ORG is back! battletank - 19/06/2009 10:36 AM  Apologies for the down time over the last three days.  The server crashed badly and couldn't be accessed remotely.  The support guys had no idea what to do to get it back up.  Eventually, though, with co-ordinated efforts, we got me connected, and I could fix the screwed up database. Anyway, what does it matter?  We missed a bit of cricket, the fixtures coming out, Gorman being hired and Sousa going to Swansea.  Nothing of any consequence.... although I bet Swansea finish ahead of us....

Thank God that's Over battletank - 03/05/2009 2:23 PM  So a truly uninspiring, messy season draws to a close (save for 45 meaningless minutes still to play at Deepdale, at the time of writing). Overriding memories: rotating doors, nil-nil draws, interference, 4-5-1, injuries, no strikers. So now we have a few weeks without football, but perhaps with some transfers and who knows, another manager who has a big enough ego to think he might be able to succeed, or a small enough ego to take the money knowing he can't.  Welcome to the most futile job in football. During these weeks, I'm hoping to make a few changes around QPR.ORG.   First on my list is the fabled 'threaded message view', which the developers have promised will make an appearance before August. Some cosmetic changes will happen too; lots of features are under utilised, so they either need to be more prominent, or go; gallery, shoutbox and user profiles all fall into this category. If you have any thoughts on what you'd like to see added, or removed, then please let me know.
