I never saw either play and an easier poll to answer is 'who was your favourite' - they played in different decades under different conditions etc etc

ps. I vote for Roy Wegerle (or is it Tony Scully?)

I saw them both play, Stan is

I saw them both play, Stan is the man but Rod is the God.

Loved them both but Rodney was the first hero, so he just sneaks it for me.

Equally, I can say, I have never had a drink with Rodney.

I did see him live with Geroge Best though.

outrageous!

Are you suggesting Rodney Marsh and George Best lived together in some kind of relationship?

Rod or Stan.

I started to support Q.P.R. in the mid sixties, I was serving in the Irish Guards and stationed in Chelsea Barracks at the time. I was looking for a team to support and had went to watch West Ham, Chelsea, and Spurs, but on my first visit to the Bush I was totally converted, the Rod was pure genius.  He was the greatest entertainer I have ever had the pleasure to watch on a football  pitch and he did it week in week out.  No shame in Stan the man coming second to the Rod, he also carried on our great tradition.

Mr Tank
