However black macabre humour is something the human condition uses to get over terrible things like this. I grew up with it through my formative years. FFS they call the massacre of people of so called religious beliefs, the troubles. If makes it sound as if there was a little scuffle round the corner, not murder and other atrocities performed on behalf of so called religious slights.

I know it may not be your thing, but honestly this was not the most offensive joke to get annoyed over. A lot worse has probably been said on here in jest.

We understand the pain of your loss Joe, but attacking Sonic for making a joke about something ( a very funny joke I thought), because it reminds you of something painful is a pointless exercise. I can’t believe what I’m reading on here today to be honest.
A man died. Not hurt, not in hospital. DIED. A man with a family who are now arranging his funeral details.

I can also understand that SONIC is not going to necessary think about that at the time he posted it even though it was in dreadful taste , I also read the same “Top Cat “ joke on Face Book a hour before seeing it on here so he can’t even get the credit of being funny either, saying that we all know he will never be funny.

The truth of it is that whilst I can understand stupid insensitive people doing stupid insensitive things I never expected somebody who I considered a mate to make dreadful and totally disrespectful comments after I inform this board about my own situation regarding my brother and his daughters ( my nieces) . That to me is what has angered and shocked me the most.

Still I’m glad you found a joke in a death of a serving policeman “Funny” or as Exile said “ Black Humour” but I thought this was a message board for Football fans not Undertakers.
