Tin Pot Dictator of Wiltshire ?
I wonder how many on here..
..are aware of the 'Battle of the Beanfield'? Yet another sordid chapter in British 'policing', and I think I'm right in thinking no one was ever charged for the brutality displayed that day by riot police on unarmed women (some pregnant) and children.. None of the police had any identifying numbers or marks that day. Just another day's work in the service of Thatcher and the ruling elite. That's the beauty of so-called capitalism in this world.. it is always underscored by the use of brutal force to protect 'property' or the 'owners' interests. Lovely world we live in - on that level - ain't it?

Big Brtother Is Listening In (allegedly)....
.....I remember reading (years ago) that 'they' were listening in to phone calls, keeping an ear out for certain key words. The newspaper reporting this alleged intrusion into the masses private conversations went on to list the babelesque incantations of terrorism. For years after that I used to phone random friends and just say "semtex.....kaleshnikov.....cell......sleeper......" and then hang up. No one ever came round for tea, biscuits and a nice chat though. Oh well.
Tim Nice But ... Oh So Lonely
"They"

those who are listening in,are the News Of the World...the whistleblower journo,Sean Hoare,is telling the truth about Andy Coulson and phone-tapping,He has made no money from this, but is motivated by doing the right thing.
However, now that Coulson is a senior member of the establishment, what is the betting that it will be Sean's name that is besmirched, and Coulson carries on regardless?
I tested that theory / urban myth

back in '99 at uni. Called a mate up from the landline of my lodgings and interspersed a ten minute conversation with a liberal sprinkling of these words: Clinton, assassinate, bomb, Clinton, Lewinksky, bomb, assassinate, Bilderberger, Clinton, assassinate, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb bomb Iran, the president, Texas, Houston, Deeley Plaza, Houston, Stewart Houston, assassinate, President Clinton
I left town for a few days and on my return there was a message waiting for me on the communal answer machine. It was a voice I'd never heard before calling me by my name and asking me to call them. An authorative but friendly well-spoken male American voice. I didn't return the call.
