Rangers will be forced to reapply for membership of the SPL when the dust from their demise and rebirth settles. Question is, will the SPL want them back, can it afford to show integrity by losing them and if they are cast out, how many rungs of the English league ladder will they try to leapfrog over? Or, will the shameless cludgies just try to blag Richard Scudawhore into letting them get their sporrans burned by the Premier League's finest.
I'd quite like to see this as it will be amusing watching them struggle, get relegated and then slapped around in the championship. They may be a big fish oop Nawth, but they'll be uncompetitive plankton down here.
Have to admit I love it when this proposal crops up as I can't see how they and, for that matter, Celtic would ever believe that they can walk away from a two team league and think they're going to cut the mustard in either of the top two tiers of English football.
They probably also think they're gonna get rich playing United and Schitty four times a year, poor deluded fools. Must be all that Bell-end's whiskey they drink up there.
