...,where did the Weld regulars from 4/5 years ago disappear to? Must admit I havn’t been in the Shepherd and Flock for a couple of seasons, but not spotted anyone on my travels. Last weekend saw me make visits to aforementioned Weld, White Horse and Adelaide, saw a few faces but none of that set.

Well Arbie's moved to North Wales for a start. Mr Chipman has more or less left us altogether for the more salubrious world of cricket and sad to say I have hardly been at all this season. That's about a third of this board's posters right there!

Their first goal could have been avoided if our defense had put a man on each post. This is a cast iron strategy for defending corners. Why we don't do this I just can't understand.

Why we continue to play with wingbacks who aren't wingbacks, without playing wingers (when we've got several) is also something I can't understand. But then I have come to the conclusion that Ollie is a bit thick.

We had rooms booked at a really nice pub/hotel called The Down Inn about three miles south of Bridgnorth. Fantastic carvery and menu. Full English breakfast for Alison and Adam and smoked salmon and scrambled egg for me. Recommend it.
