Happy Christmas everyone.
If you'd seen my posts on fb and twitter celebrating, you wouldn't be calling me a fools fan Jack! What a game! I absolutely loved it - first time I've laughed out loud in a long time at a match and Chris Martin's miss was proper hilarious. Alex Smithies is a hero, and that last minute penalty miss by the fools was the absolute icing on the cake. Love Sylla's goal too. Happy days :)
@Sonic I lived and went to school in Fulham, my maternal Grandfather took me to games there before I was old enough to protest, half my family are Fulham, the other half Rangers. Plus, I have a turncoat cousin who is a coach at Chelsea. If only they'd had childline when I was a kid.
Whereabouts in Fulham did you grow up Sonners? My mum was from Fulham, born in Dawes Road I think. Although I grew up in Barnes, just over the river, I went to school in Hammersmith, and I was also taken to see Fulham as a kid - remember seeing George Best play from them, and once I saw Pele play there (in a friendly I think). Was never drawn to them though! Also remember when Bobby Moore joined them he opened a pub on the Fulham Palace Road imaginatively called Mooro's.

When did you leave to go oop norf like?
Hammersmith, Fulham (and Richmond) my stomping ground as a yoof. Great venues, The Cow, The Greyhound, The Palais, The Nashville, the er... George on the Broadway, and the Odeon of course.
I was still in short trousers when, as part of the great overspill, we were evacuated to Oxfordshire. I'm not sure it would have been fair to the area to have us both running around in our pomp.
